Seems like Coach Satterfield has said that Harrington is cleared to play but needed some time to get into playing condition. I seriously doubt that they burn People's redshirt unless there are further injuries. No inside information but I think he wanted Peoples to get some snaps against a solid D for evaluation and for experience. He will be available if needed but I don't see that being the case. I think we play him some against Troy and only if needed in the CCG...then maybe in the bowl if he hasn't played in 4 yet.

Does the 4 game limit for a red shirt count conference championship games and the bowl game or are those games freebies that would give 6 games to a red-shirt freshman.

Also, will Peoples have the chance to be the first player to score a touchdown wearing a redshirt?

You seem to be using future tense but did he not score a TD yesterday?

That's what the ESPN gamecast had. But they also put that C. Duck caught a pass from Z. Thomas. So, who knows?

I meant in FBS history and did word it poorly. I don't think I understand the red shirt rules past or present, but I was basically asking if the shirt isn't removed and the season ends, will Peoples be the first FBS player to score a touchdown before his not so freshman freshman year. My brain hurts.

Stats should hold. Basically gets 5 years of stats though one uear is not a full years but a 1/3 of a year.

Peoples does look big! Get a year in the Strength and Conditioning program and he could be legit beast out there. We have had some great running backs in the last few years (Richardson, Fox, Moore) but none with P5 size. Peoples may get there!

Couldn't find the article online but in today's Greensboro News & Record they highlighted Peoples and Satt stated that he was going to keep his redshirt in place for this year. We're deep at running back but Satt was excited about Peoples' future...said "he's fun to be around and hard to bring down."

No need to burn the shirt. Next year should be fun as we will have some hard nose runners in Harrington, Peoples, and Williams, along with the elusive Evans and Hicks.

Evans could move to slot, he needs to be on the field as much as possible.

Yes, he would be a good one to replace Heath and play with Williams.

The future is bright at the offensive skill positions.
ZT at QB1
Williams, Harrington, Peoples - 3 headed Monster at RB
Sutton, Hennigan, Virgil, Williams, Evans - 5 Horsemen at WR
Reed, Pearson, Papenheim - 3 Man Wrecking Crew at the point of attack at TE

There are also some sleepers on the scout team that will emerge as contributers next year as well.

That should be good enough to roll the Heels.

Doubtful that he moves back to slot. If you move him back to slot, who do you sit? Hennigan, Sutton, Virgil, or Williams? Slot doesn't guarantee him enough touches per game.

Virgil is the odd man out there.

There is allegedly a really good TE coming in next year from Charlotte, too.

Doubt it happens. Pretty safe bet that Evans stays at RB/KR.

I'd take the bet that Evans lines up at WR next year. If Harrington doesn't get hurt he would have played WR this year.

I’m good with a friendly wager. I say that Evans starts the 2019 season as a RB. What do you want to wager?
