Troy is big, well coached and fairly fast. I've watched their games. We will need a turnover free, dumb penalty free game to beat them.

Just win baby. Can't ask for anything more than controlling your own destiny with two home games to play.

This... and our O-Line HAS to block and protect better. They HAVE to be able to get a push and give Zac reasonable time to throw.

Georgia State is just not a good team. I say we beat them by 35.

When Troy's starting QB went down early in the season I thought it was gonna be tough on them. But the back up guy has really turned the corner after a shaky start.

The back up is playing better and he throws a good ball. But I watched the Southern game and it appears that he has a tendency to underthrow the sideline go routes. If the DBs can get their heads around, there are opportunities to get some picks.

I saw the troy/GaSo game too. I saw troy was big and slow. But they are good. Forget about running it up the middle except to set up something else. But the edges are ours. And i dont recall GaSo blitzing so they got little pressure on troys qb. That needs to change. This could be the game of size vs. speed. I like our chances. Should be a great game. Especially if the weather cooperates.

It's all relative. What I saw in the GaSo game was that Troy clogged the middle. But, GaSo could run around the edges. I think App will likewise be able to run around the edges.

However you want to say it, App is faster.

Big doesn’t bother me as much as speed. Our results against big (Big Ten) tends to be better than against speed( Clemson, Miami, even GS). Now if they are truly big AND fast( Clemson) that is a problem. Hopefully superior coaching will prevail then.

Neal is a great coach. I'd argue Neal and Satt are the class of the SBC.

As a whole I’ve yet to see very many big AND fast G5 teams. Usually one or the other. Most bad to average G5 linemen who are big are fat. If they were big and fast they probably are on P5 teams. There are some exceptions I’m sure but that’s my observation. That being said we should be able to outrun the rest of the teams we play. I suspect we will have some wrinkles not yet seen when ole Troy comes to town.
