This is a playoff game just like the Troy game, unless you want to depend on Troy also losing. We need to be loud. Make it a playoff atmosphere.

Actually, it wouldn't matter if Troy loses Saturday, we'd still have to beat them next week because they'd hold the tie breaker between us. We have to win both games to win the SBC East at this point. Troy only has to beat us to do it.

If both us and Troy lose this weekend we can still win our division if we beat Troy, assuming GS drops another. We would both have 2 losses if we beat Troy, but have the head to head win, unless I’m missing something.

Assuming GS loses another, you're right if we lose this weekend we'd need Troy to also lose this weekend to Tx State and then our game with Troy would determine the SBC East winner which we'd still be in the running for. Slim chances for all of that happening but I guess stranger things have. I stand corrected, it would be best for Troy to lose Saturday in case we get upset by Ga State.

Just like last season, the Apps had the little hiccup in the middle of the season and then the train started rolling downhill over everyone culminating with the complete destruction of a very good Toledo team. Hears hoping the train keeps rolling for the rest of the season.

Last year's team had more than a brief hiccup. It really didn't get rolling until the last 4 games or so. This years team has been much more consistent. I don't think there will be any more hiccups this season.

The "stick it to them" factor of this made it one of my favorites too. I recall my wife and I predicting this would happen after the second timeout. I also think I remember Jerry doing this once or twice too.

I would love to eliminate the term “trap game” from the App State dictionary. If the entire team to include the coaching staff ever looks past ANY team and lays a huge egg because of it there needs to be an investigation- lol. There are not enough games in any season to allow that to happen. Short of being in the CFB playoffs our ultimate goal should be to play in the NY6 and losing a “trap game “ any year will kill those chances.
