Business 40 In Winston Closing Saturday Morning 11-17-18

For those that go through Winston-Salem to and from Boone please be aware that the closure starts this Saturday.

Highway officials said the mile-long stretch of Business 40 will close at 6 a.m. Saturday for a complete renovation requiring the closure of the highway for a 17-month period.

When the closure goes into effect, eastbound traffic on Business 40 will have to exit at Peters Creek Parkway or earlier. Westbound traffic will have to exit at U.S. 52 or earlier.
