I wondered if the hill was wet and that's why few people were on it. The walkway on top of the hill seemed to be full for a while at least. I'd like to say again that we'd have more students not only attend, but stay longer if they actually had seats but I won't bring it up. And I agree, it was a solid crowd and Ga State didn't add anything to the attendance count...like at all.

It was covered with snow/ice, if you look on the neersbarstool instagram there's videos of people slipping and falling on it.

My son (App 2010) and daughter-in-law (UCF 2008) coming in from Colorado. My daughter (App 2014) and son-in-law (App 2013) coming in from New York. My family will be with me at The Rock for this major event. I am truly thankful.

We had 20,000 reported attendance the Saturday after Thanksgiving in 2014 against Idaho. In 2015, same date against LaLa, just 16,000.

For comparison ‘05-‘07 attendance that same weekend ranged from 6,000 - 14,000.

Throughout the entire 3-peat we only eclipsed 20,000 one time during the 9 home playoff games and that was the 2007 semi-final where we put 24,000 butts in the seats. The next highest attendance number was 18,000.

Lower attendance for those playoff games, but it was pretty damn loud. Back when The Rock used to be an intimidating place to play. It's still an advantage to play at home, but the crowd noise has been very inconsistent over the years. If we win Saturday, and then host the SBC game, I hope for a similar playoff atmosphere.

A FG blunder as in all they had to do was kick a field goal to win from inside the 10, but they ran a play to run the clock down and fumbled or the 8 or so?
