1% chance App gets in NY6 Bowl

I posted this in CSNbbs, but just wanted to post it here cause it's fun to speculate. Not gonna happen but assuming we hit the lottery:

Highest ranked CONFERENCE CHAMP gets in.

1. #9 UCF (AAC) - Let's assume they lose to Memphis in the AAC championship.
2. #21 Utah State (MWC) OR #23 Boise State - They play each other tomorrow and the winner faces Fresno State in the MWC championship. So let's assume the winner then loses to Fresno State.

That scenario gets rid of all the teams that are CURRENTLY ranked out of contention. After this it's more or less speculation:

AAC: Memphis (9-4 in this scenario with bad losses and wins against UCF/Houston)

MWC: Fresno State (11-2 or 10-3 in this scenario, they still play San Jose State tomorrow which will not effect them getting to the championship game. They already have close losses against Minnesota and Boise State. Assuming it's a HUGE upset and they lose to San Jose State they would be out)

CUSA: UAB (losses to Coastal Carolina and TX A&M) OR several possible teams that aren't worth mentioning.

MAC: Buffalo (10-2 currently) OR NIU (7-5 currently)

So to sum it up we need:

MEMPHIS > UCF
SAN JOSE STATE > FRESNO STATE
FRESNO STATE > WHOEVER IN MWC CHAMPIONSHIP
WHOEVER IN CUSA CHAMP > UAB
NIU > BUFFALO
APP STATE > TROY
APP STATE > WHOEVER IN SBC

...and then it's a coin flip between App State & Memphis (big wins but 4 losses).

They might not win the game they’re in right now. USF just pulled within one score. But this game is irrelevant cause a 1-loss UCF team still gets in ahead of us. We need them to lose to Memphis regardless in this scenario.
