Honestly he sounded ok. Expected more after his BS all day. Of course he’s insinuating that we did something illegal to draw his defense offside? Whatever! Ice up

If he keeps that behavior up his kid will wind up playing QB for us one day

Don't see any problem with this.

I thought he sounded a little like a sore loser and it rubbed off on his players for their pressers too. They didn't play their game, their banged up, etc. Everyone's banged up..we're missing the OPOY and I believe we would have moved the ball better in the second half had he been able to play. It is what it is, you bring your best game, banged up players and all; it's football for pete's sake. Brown complained about the officiating too...did he not like the 13 freaking penalties they called on us? Okay, we won and that's all I care about at the moment. Can't believe we get to host the first Sun Belt conference championship game at our house and I'm really excited about that. It's been a great year.

He needed a team manager running around behind him with a box of tissues.

The thing he would rather not talk about is a complaint that others have made about App defen stimulating the snap count. It got called at Coastal.

He's upset in part because the reviews overturned several missed calls that benefited Troy. Those were crucial in turning the game our way. Remember, they in several cases reversed calls on the field with indisputable evidence. He's got no complaint there.

He acted ridiculous on the sidelines. All three replays ended with the right call. It sucks for Troy but that’s what it’s there for ..to get the call right on the field. Without the replay we maybe win 14 -10.

What was he doing on the sidelines?

Could have been the worst behavior on the sidelines I have seen. I thought he lost sight of the game and wanted to chew on the refs as an excuse. And he did chew and chew the refs. Not what I expected from such a highly regarded coach. Troy head coach gets a D- from me.

Some call it whining. Some call it coaching. Getting in the refs face several times, slinging his headset, etc.

Hard to complain about not being called offsides when they were clearly offsides on the missed field goal, yet he found a way to do so.

They have a good defense and we’re missing their better QB. Would have loved to play them with their QB1 and a healthy Jalin Moore.

I really don't have a problem with the interview. I'm sure he will review the tape and confirm that the correct calls were made on review. I was frustrated with these as well because the refs seemed determined to help Troy out and it shouldn't be necessary to overturn so many key calls on review. No, I don't think the bad calls were intentional or that there is a conspiracy but I do think the officiating was bad in this game. Thank God the reviews were available.

The constant reviews really took the rhythm out of the game. Seems like the officials were being super picky on holding calls both ways but I'm not the best at determining that from the stands. I don't usually re-watch games but I might have to watch this one.

I'm sure that Coach Brown was disappointed but I hate to tell him....the Apps outplayed his boys from end to end. Despite the disappointing offensive performance in the second half, Troy couldn't move the ball against our D at all. He complains about the short field but we gave him a short field for the entire third quarter and he got ZERO points.

In merging 2 active threads, I hear Brown's name mentioned way more than I hear Satterfield's in line for filling in the coaching carousel on the sport's talk shows. The successful, 40ish, and younger they are the more desirable is the vibe to fill in these P5s. Wonder if Brown has the same "principles" as Satterfield and just make it a career at Troy?

I wouldn’t expect either of them to spend their entire careers at their current schools.

There are some that think he might not have principles in moving his family from God's country to make money more money in 2 years at a new job than he can make at his current job in 10 years. I wasn't sure if the press may have asked Brown's opinion on a job move, in comparing Satterfield as a candidate for UNC-Cheat.
