**FRI UPDT** SUNBELT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WX TRENDS

**FRIDAY UPDATE**
No major changes in the overall forecast thinking. Rain very much a part of the day, but, it doesn't appear to be a constant deluge sort of deal. As a matter of fact, it's possible we see a several hour stretch of no rain, or just drizzle, prior to the kickoff at noon. I'd expect a steadier, light to moderate rain scenario ramping up by halftime. Rain will likely end the game. Mid to upper 40s.
They key to keeping your body happy, dry warm feet, and a dry warm head. Most everything else is gravy.
OK Mounatineers... let's take LaLa to the woodshed one more time!
GO MOUNTAINEERS!

**THURS UPDATE***
Well, wish I had better news.... Rain. Pretty much sums it up. Tighter grid modeling has a pretty clear suggestion of just flat out rain. On the upside, I'm not seeing a deluge of rain through the period. Light to moderate showers, with a few lulls along the way. Lower 50s for the game. Mid 40 in the AM. NO SNOW.
Pack your ponchos, rain suits, and gear to keep your feet dry, and come on up. If need be, some "Apple Pie" might help warm your innards...
This is a game for the die hard fan base. I'd love to be wrong on this. But, yeah, rain.
GO MOUNTAINEERS!

*WED AM UPDATE*
Rain is still a part of the forecast for Saturday. Some emerging trends suggest, a dry morning and start to the game with periods of rain by halftime and into the end of the game.
As of this Wednesday AM post, I'm not seeing a complete washout sort of deal. If anything, patchy precip may be the reality vs blanket and steady coverage.
We'll see if this trends will be the emerging reality, or not, over the next 48 hours. I'll update later today.

A complex weather deal is emerging for the weekend. No good way to say it.... Rain likely. Lower to mid 50s. Cold air won't be in place to support snow at this point, and I don't anticipate that icy "gotcha" we had last Friday night and early Saturday morning.
I will refine the forecast as the week unfolds. Data gets more reliable with output as the next 48 hours evolve.
We packed the rock this last weekend, lets pack it again!
GO MOUNTAINEERS!
