Peoples
Our backs have done an outstanding nice job this season, but i'm anxious to see Peoples get some carries next 2 games. I'm told he is the real deal and difference maker. Hope he can get worked into the mix and wow us all.

Re: Peoples
I like your statement. I'm thinking he potentially can be the best RB talent we have ever recruited....he just has to prove it. I like the little I've seen of him. Personally I would use him the rest of the way and not worry about redshirt and have more confidence in our future recruiting efforts because the more powerful we are in the present the better the recruiting in the future.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 8:33 pmOur backs have done an outstanding nice job this season, but i'm anxious to see Peoples get some carries next 2 games. Re: Peoples
I thought he had two more games left and we could use him to finish out our 11-2 season. Has he played in 3 already?

Re: Peoples
He has only played in 2 games so far, so no need to worry about messing up his redshirt. Our running game is so good though....not sure how many carries he would steal from Evans and Williams this year.

Re: Peoples
Peoples seems to have the physical talent to be a great one. If he has learned the work ethic that has made previous App RBs great, we are going to have a very good one! Moore, Cox, Upshaw....going all the way back to Kevin Richardson. The ethic and attitude was what made them great!

Re: Peoples
My son and I met him on the field after the game Saturday and he took a picture with my son. He is a BIG boy, really built like a stout WR vs a RB. He has a great attitude and undoubtedly has the tangible and un tangibles to be a playmaker

Re: Peoples
Wonder how him and Marcus Williams Jr will co-mingle. I think no matter how good they think he is, Darrynton has earned the majority of touches these last two games. Then its MWJ and him splitting touches?? Can only imagine if we still had Jalin. Only so many plays in a game. But this isn't a bad problem to have.

Re: Peoples
I'm sure he'll play some in the SBCC game and the bowl game. He's got 2 games left in his redshirt. Excited to see him fit into the mix a bit more.

Re: Peoples
His playing in these last 2 games will depend on how much of a lead we have towards the end of the game, or if we have a couple of backs go down with injuries. Too much at stake in both games to put him into a pressure situation before he's ready. We're good in the backfield if all stay healthy.

Re: Peoples
The one position that needs the least amount of screwing with is our running backs. It sucked to lose JM but we are pretty loaded. We hit at least 200 yards per game so we are in pretty good shape I would say. I am excited to see what CP will bring but it’s not like he’s got to get 20 carries in these last two games. Re: Peoples
Maybe we are just worried about the lack of experience (fumbles) and that's why he hasn't played earlier in games. I'm sure there are reasons. I assume that will remain the same the next 2 games. If he plays it'll only be late and possibly only if we have a big lead.
Re: Peoples
People's is getting a ton of love from coaches and fans as the back of the future. Has a game ready body as a freshmen. However he was a late recruit out of Alabama at 2 stars and a .72 rating. Was he just overlooked or what?
