I think APP is safe there are a few other names in the hat that are better fits, but that is my opinion...

Louisville is a quagmire (giggity).... Not so certain you leave App for that sort of deal.

Louisville fans all over Twitter bashing Satt. Not sure he will take this job from App. Still scares me. Not looking good. We will have to offer at least a mill to keep him.

Only way I see Satt turning down an offer from Louisville would be to accept one from Georgia Tech instead.

Actually they are strapped at the moment. They owe $26 million to Petrino and Jurich combined.

Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue
This seems to be the consensus over on their forum. They really seem to dislike him.

Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue
Satt was a better fit at regional UNC than Louisville or Tech. Louisville has the money and could have the second best program behind Clemson in the ACC sooner than the dumpster fire Florida State or Miami rebuild. Louisville is the best job of the lot mentioned here.
I guess if Satt does go to Louisville, then P Johnson come home to the Mountains and APP would be the next thread?

No, we’ve got Mark Speir lined up and ready to go, other candidates need not apply.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 7:31 pmSatt was a better fit at regional UNC than Louisville or Tech. Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue
i would prefer Louisville if I were given the choice. GT is a higher profike academic institution but I think winning at UL would be easier. Standards are looser there snd he may have more.success bringing in talented athletes that arent such talented students.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 7:25 pmOnly way I see Satt turning down an offer from Louisville would be to accept one from Georgia Tech instead.

Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue
I really don’t understand why some of you are assuming that he is gone with every job that pops up? He is a hot name in the media but that doesn’t mean that he is at the top of every ADs list of replacements. And just because a job opens, doesn’t mean that he is getting a call and just because he gets a call doesn’t mean that he gets an offer and just because he gets an offer, doesn’t mean that he is going to take it. Everyone needs to calm the F*#k down.

This is a little different. There’s a lot of smoke to a pretty big fire. If you read Louisville’s insider boards Satt has been the only name mentioned as their backup this whole week. I’d almost guess it’s about 75% chance he’s gone. Barring any major changes.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 7:41 pmI really don’t understand why some of you are assuming that he is gone with every job that pops up? Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue
I’m not saying that he doesn’t listen, he would be a fool not to. But just because he listens doesn’t mean that he is gone. Look, Louisville wasn’t attractive enough to bring home their favorite son, so what makes you think that it would be attractive enough to lure our favorite son away? And don’t tell me money. Satt isn’t in it for the money and it will not sway the decision if there are some red flags to him. Take what I just said and go listen to the radio call with WFNZ. He is happy where he is. His family WANTS to be in Boone and did not like being away from it the last time. Not saying he doesn’t listen. But it would not surprise me if he tells the AD that the timing isn’t right, but thank you.

It amazes me how naive some of our fans are.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 7:59 pmI’m not saying that he doesn’t listen, he would be a fool not to. Sorry. Is the naive comment directed at me or are you agreeing with the statement?AppGrad78 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 8:04 pmIt amazes me how naive some of our fans are.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 7:59 pmI’m not saying that he doesn’t listen, he would be a fool not to.
