Brohm HS threatened

This is so insane it deserved its own thread. Obviously the Satt/Louisville/Brohm deal is getting a lot of attention. Just read on ESPN that Brohm’s old HS in Louisville is closed today after a threat. Are you kidding me? Is this REALLY a place Satt wants to take his family? A 2-10 season next year and they would go off the rails.

Olympic High School in Charlotte was closed due to a threat a couple of weeks ago. Butler was closed because of an actual shooting. Is this really a basis for making a decision? It's sad to say, but this stuff is happening all over and it isn't at the "bottom" schools.

You can find a nice place to live in Louisville. I have cousins there CPA's and sure there are pockets of trouble but it aint that bad.

I really wasn’t knocking the city of Louisville and I wasn’t trying to compare to other school violence. The point was that the fan base must be so ridiculous about coaches that some nutjob has gone so far as to threaten the HS where the coach who turned them down attended. Some of these schools are so enamored with “keeping it in the family “, hiring from within or some other criteria that they miss out on great possibilities. I was also simply mentioning that Satt might be getting into a crazy environment that would not accept a rebuild and may not tolerate losing from the new, outside guy.

yeah...if the two are related, that's definitely messed up.
