In the event of a win....

What do you feel should happen to the field goal posts?

They should be left alone. It's not as though our football program is a stranger to success. Tearing down goal posts is for those unaccustomed to winning.

Nothing, we would be fined for rushing the field.

I know someone who would take a jackhammer to the track post game.

He'd (I assume it's a guy) better have a big checking account, premium oral and maxillofacial care insurance or the upper body strength of Hulk Hogan. A jackhammer on that rubber surface is good for sudden smash-mouth injury. ;)

It would be like a heavy-duty pogo stick.

Show our class/good sportsmanship and act like we're accustomed to winning. We are!

Leave em.

Although it will be outright, this will be our third in as many years. A tearing down should be reserved for a ridiculous milestone.

Leave 'em up. Hadn't considered otherwise before this post. And I'm not a get off my lawn, act like you've been there type. If we'd beaten Miami (or maybe Wake) I'd have been right down there with the young folks. But a Sun Belt title over a 7-5 team isn't near that level.

Not to mention, one we’ve yet to lose to.

We are accustomed to winning yes. But no one has EVER won the Sun Belt Championship Game and seeing as bringing down the goal posts a few times are some of my best memories from college...let the kids have some fun.

Tear down Owens and drag it to Duck Pond. I’m not sure where he lives, but maybe take it to Peacock’s house after too.

We had won two championships and very used to winning, yet they still came down against Youngstown State before the third championship. For me it's not about act like you're accustomed to winning, it's more of a celebration method that has not happened in years, because there has been no reason in years. It was somewhat of a tradition IMO. There were times they would come down just because we beat Georgia Southern on a Black Saturday (I believe the bus incident was one of those times). If it doesn't happen, I'm cool with that, but having been a student during the championship days and a part of tossing into tje duck pond, I would love to see it.
