Ahead of week15 rankings
Currently based on the AP and Coaches polls we are are more or less the 7th ranked G5 football team in the nation and I ain't buying it!
(AP)
UCF
Boise State
Army
Fresno St
Utah St
Cincinnati
Appalachian St
With exception to UCF maybe Boise, I say we could beat any of above list on a normal basis. On good days we could beat them all.
Plus I can't see some P5 4 & 5 loss teams being ranked ahead being better teams especially Iowa St and Northwestern for example arguably a couple more.
As things currently stand and providing we get a resounding victory in the New Orleans Bowl, I feel we should finish in the final poll no less than #23!

Re: Ahead of week15 rankings
If the WRs don't drop passes we can beat any team that isn't BAMA or UGA.
Our offenses' worst enemy is themselves, e.g. holding penalties and dropped passes. Satt won't run the score up if he can help it which hides just how good we are.
Im so happy we won yesterday. This season was one of the most enjoyable in my 12 years as an App fan. My hope is we get a good matchup for the bowl. I'd love to see UAB or Northern Illinois...Southern Miss would be a let down.

Re: Ahead of week15 rankings
One factor I see besides our historical heavy tendency for penalties is the officiating that governs conferences we play in. SunBelt officials like to drop the flag. Look at the SEC it's like the WWF.
Also historically being a little undersized on front line gives way to this when mechanics or getting beat fails. A smaller guy is naturally going to be more anxious.

Here is my logical way to rank the 15 to 25 spots...…

17 Cincinnati 10-2 0.833 4-2 0.667 6-0 1.000
18 App State 10-2 0.833 4-2 0.667 6-0 1.000
19 Army 9-2 0.818 4-2 0.667 5-0 1.000
20 Boise 10-3 0.769 5-3 0.625 5-0 1.000
21 Utah State 10-2 0.833 3-2 0.600 7-0 1.000

23 Syracuse 9-3 0.750 4-3 0.571 5-0 1.000
24 Texas A&M 8-4 0.667 5-4 0.556 3-0 1.000
25 Stanford 8-4 0.667 5-4 0.556 3-0 1.000
Utah 9-4 0.692 4-4 0.500 5-0 1.000
Missouri 8-4 0.667 4-4 0.500 4-0 1.000

Pittsburgh 7-6 0.538 6-5 0.545 1-1 0.500
If you lost to a non-bowl eligible team you are out. If you don't have a winning record against bowl eligible teams you are out. The results make all the sense in the world and I don't see an arguement against it.

Re: Ahead of week15 rankings
