Victor Johnson
At the game yesterday and noticed that Victor Johnson never returned from his injury early in the game. Certainly hope he is ok and will be able to go in NO. Anyone know anything? Very proud of our Mountineers. Hope we'll be healthy and ready to kick some C-USA butt in NO. Can't wait.

Re: Victor Johnson
I actually opened this thread thinking that someone was going to speculate on him leaving early or follwiing Satt when he leaves. Hope he is OK though.

Re: Victor Johnson
I didn’t say he wouldn’t leave. I said that he would only leave if the family bought in. I was debunking the money ogres on here that think that he would leave solely for the money.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 8:31 amI thought you said a few days ago, Scott wouldnt leave? LoL

Re: Victor Johnson
Maybe he's leaving in hopes he'll someday be made a Kentucky Colonel?

Re: Victor Johnson
Why does anyone have an agent or headhunter and why do they interviewing then? Not because it's a lateral move for their family. They would not be interviewing had they not already bought into the agent hiring and into particular opportunities. I hear Brown's name for these coaching jobs 20x more than Satt's name mentioned, my thought's are he's back in Boone for next season. If he does get that job and poaches our players, we'll have to dynamite his image off our Mt. RushMoore.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:16 amI didn’t say he wouldn’t leave. For what it’s worth I spoke to Vic on the field. He said he’s playing in the Bowl Game.

Re: Victor Johnson
Pretty sure Scott was approached by this agent after the 1st Bowl win. “Listen fella I can get you a deal”.....Npthing wrong with it but you can bet the agent wasn’t there Scott first 2 years. Vultures I say!!!

Re: Victor Johnson
Let me put it this way. While there are a lot of schools that Satt checks boxes for, do they check his boxes for potential employers? There may be a couple out there that do, Ga Tech being one of them, but I don’t think Satt looks at a job that doesn’t fit his needs and says, yea but look at all that money.
As for the agent thing. Why is it the assumption that Satt sought him out? As stated above, Sexton could have reached out to him pimping his services. After all, he makes his money by getting people money.

Re: Victor Johnson
If he was approached by Sexton, a simple "No thanks, I'm happy where I am" would have sufficed if he and his family are truly happy where they are.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 10:07 amLet me put it this way.
