ULALA heated seats
I understand a warm weather team using heated seats when playing in freezing temps. But for a rainy December day, yesterday was fairly mild. I was never truly cold or uncomfortable. The rain was pretty light.
The heated seats and tents were a bit much. If you're moving around, yesterdays weather shouldn't have been an issue.

It wasn’t cold to them until the 2nd half. They fired up the generator for that half. Imagine trying be heard over that thing!!

And to be honest UL did play better the 2nd half, IMHO, though there are lots of variables involved.HighPointApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 3:46 pmIt wasn’t cold to them until the 2nd half. They fired up the generator for that half. Imagine trying be heard over that thing!!

Re: ULALA heated seats
I had the luxury of hot chocolate, wearing extra layers, wearing thicker layers, yet I still found myself in the restroom trying to warm my ass cheeks. They probably had went pants which of course makes things a little cooler. Was it as cold as it can get in Boone? No. But it still had a little chill.

As my buddy and I were making our way to the field via the visitor side we heard one of their coaches say- “bunch of F.ing red necks, let’s get out of here”. Guess he was cold and didn’t realize he said that out loud.

Rednecks? Why, I'm scandalized.
Please, sir. "Hillbillies" or nothing, if you please.
As for the heated benches, two things are simultaneously true:
1) I think they're sissies for using them.
2) I would absolutely use the heck out of a heated bench in most November and December games. Think anyone would notice if I brought my own?

Re: ULALA heated seats
Wait. <insert sarcasm here> If this was a 'Neutral site' game, shouldn't LALA have provided tents and heated seats for us? After all we had to sacrifice signage and 3rd down bells!
I, for one, was glad the game was in Boone! Now, lets invite them back when its cold!

Re: ULALA heated seats
Sitting in 112, I noticed a couple players were using the heated bench/tent as an aid for them to help hide them using the restroom. Not sure why they just wouldn't have wet their pants, probably would have helped warm them up a bit as well.
