Scott will talk to the existing S&C staff. They may be top notch. This isn’t like a Republican replacing a Democrat.

Iron Mike and Ponce will go with Satt. I don't think there is any question about that. Not real worried about replacing Iron Mike though. The pressing need is to hire some play callers on the offensive side.

Who stays depends heavily on who is hired as HC since he will be choosing his own staff. If Satt decides to keep Lonnie Galloway at Louisville then Watts could be available to stay on as recruiting coordinator/WR coach.

Mike is gone for sure if what I heard from staff and folks in the football side have told me. He and Scott are very close.

Same here. I am okay with losing Scott if we keep everyone else for sure. People don't realize how good the strength coach, recruiting coordinator, and some of our other assistants have been. I do expect a few to stay but we will lose some to Louisville or elsewhere.

No doubt that hiring a new HC is the priority but S&C coach would be a pretty high priority as well. If Iron Mike leaves, we need a strong successor quickly to run off season programs. The lack of a solid S&C program derailed us before and Iron Mike was the solution. Hope that never happens again.

Heard the same thing. If what I hear is true then we are going to be just fine and may even see some areas improve within that department. I guess we will find out this year.
