Things like that in articles always make me laugh. These writers halfway pay attention to football and somehow get paid to write articles. They typically only know about the top 6 teams because that’s all anyone ever talks about. Hence why they will never expand the playoff, these P5 or bust guys’ heads will explode if a team they did not know about actually upset one of their darlings.Overcashed wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 9:16 am"UAB is the story of this group, going from a shutdown football program four years ago to a winning the first-ever Sun Belt conference title after beating Middle Tennessee State."

I am a sports guy, I read and watch a ton. I always have friends who are fans of “their” team and act like they know something about the whole landscape. They say things like-
“ the hurry-up offense works so well, why don’t we run it the whole time?”

“ App, who cares. Werent they Division 2”

None of these types of people actually “know” sports, they just enjoy the entertainment of what the ESPNs of the world filter to them.

Southern Miss may be bowl eligible, but did not get invited.
