Listening to Gameday before Army-Navy. All the talking heads, including Charles Barkley are picking MTSU over APP in bowl game. All say it is the coaching change. Hope the players see these picks and get an "Us against Them" attitude and prove to everyone that App State football is not just one person. We are a family and a program with a long winning history!! GO APPS!!

sometimes I come to this board and wonder what in the heck people are talking about even after seeing and watching and reading news and information they then post the exact opposite.

Speaking of Gameday.... Did anyone see it last week with Cuavo? He said App State was the college he wanted to go to coming out of high school and picked us to win. I got a kick out of that.....

No, I watched it live this morning. They all picked App State to beat MTSU except for Kirk Herbstreit. Kirk is not that good at predictions anyway and can kiss my fat rebel arse.

I can see how you would get it wrong just from listening. Everything they said was bad but then 3 of them picked us anyway.

There’s nothing he said that wasn’t fair, or could be considered a cheap shot. I definitely don’t agree with him, but what he said is an honest assessment. He’s even picked us two of the last three weeks, and was an advocate for our ranking earlier this year.

Who gives a crap what those guys predict? My god there are a half dozen doomsday threads going on right now on this crazy board. We are losing all of our coaches, players will transfer, people are predicting that we lose this precious bowl game. Good lord it’s football. We will get a great coach, win the bowl game and stomp the ever living crap out of most everyone next season! Go Apps

Like most of us, after the cupcake comment, I don't care too much for Herbie. However, leading up to our getting ranked I heard him talking us up. I think we will win in NO but no one on this board can honestly say they feel better about the game now than they did this time last week. Our boys will be ready but the coaching change right before the bowl really sucks.
