Re: Board of trustees
And it would be well deserved. Would be a horrible hire, and we would never hear the end of it from our ECU friends. Cant see this one happening but if it does, honestly DG should be fired.

Not a fan of Creme Brulee but I'll take your word for it!ComebackShack wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 1:48 pmThe Creme Brulee donut from Rise is top notch.MountaineerMafia wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 1:47 pmTheir store set up and donut options suck now! Why did they take away the Maple Bacon Bar?!?appaneer1984 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 1:20 pmNot necessarily fast food, but my two cents goes to Rise Biscuits & Donuts...Deluxe Chicken Biscuit with a side of Hashpuppies...that's right hash browns made into hush puppies, it'll convert a third and short any day of the week and twice on Sundays!
The biscuits and hashpuppies are on point but I frequent that place far less often than I used to because it just lost so much of what made it great. It's a shame too because it was my favorite breakfast spot in Durham.

You're not wrong. But certainly with Ivey right under your nose, Scottie mo doesn't seem to make sense. Not believing it for now.diehardapp18 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 9:21 pmI will say Scottie would be better than Woody, Searles, Speir, or Horton.

Re: Board of trustees
I’ll throw out probably the smartest hire which is Scot Sloan. Guy can recruit like no one’s business, app ties, and he’d be here for probably 6-7 years before he moved on (assuming he did well)
Re: Board of trustees
Based on reading the posts the last few days, I’d say it’s no more legit than this free board.ComebackShack wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 9:09 pmJust subscribed to App State 247 page. AppStateMania on there just confirmed it wasn’t Gattis and apparently others have dropped Scottie Montgomery as an option. AppStateMania is pretty legit, right? If so, it ain’t Gattis.

My money is on Ruffin McNeil. DG is known for keeping his cards close to his chest and nobody is talking about McNeil. He’s a top candidate with App ties.

Re: Board of trustees
So glad school is off again tomorrow it might get ugly. I need more beer. My nerves are shot and if we get ECUs trash ... I can't fathom that my beloved Apps would take someone with a 9-26 record.
This would warrant a lot of interesting signs in the dome on game day.

Yeah, surely it's just someone trying to stir the pot. It's absolutely insane to me how airtight this entire thing has been.yosef69 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 9:23 pmYou're not wrong. Since there’s nothing better going on, I’ll give my speculative grades on each potential hire. I invite everyone else to do the same:
Scottie Mo: F
Gattis: A
Ruffin: C-
Ledford: A-
Sloan: B+
Woody: A-
