Yeah it was tongue-in-cheek. With the players we have coming back on D and retaining Desparado I’m just not that worried about our defense plummeting.

Bleu Cheese or Ranch?

Shrimp Sauce or Ginger sauce?

Do you call it Yum Yum Sauce, White sauce, or Shrimp sauce?

Harris Teeter or Publix?

Best sitcom ever?

Starbucks or Dunkin?

Yanny or Laurel?

Is Bird Box good or bad?

Apple or Android?

Best professional sports All Star format?

Isn’t Greta Van Fleet just a LED Zeppelin clover band playing original content?

That’s a start....
Ranch but like both
Shrimp but house ginger on the salad
Shrimp sauce but white is interchangeable
HT since I worked there 9 yrs through HS/App
Married with children
Starbucks espresso not a reg coffee fan
Neither
Just no
Apple
NBA
Uhm no clue
A fellow Teeter man.... Small one or big one? What years?
Big one mostly, helped out at the small one occasionally. Pretty much my entire time in Boone. 96-01

Oh, just missed you. I was there (both stores) from ‘02-‘06. Did a little bit of everything for them as well.

Adams is another fantastic hire. In the (paraphrased) words of a friend of mine last night who needs a DC when you score 55 a game?
Well, it will be entertaining. But ask OU how that works out in the long run...

Here's hoping that Gasp is the defensive "rain man" that everyone says he is.
They were in college playoff last two years, so I'd say it's worked pretty well.

as this thread takes another tangent....

Fellow Teeter man as well--7 years in HS in Charlotte, Myrtle Beach (summer after I graduated HS) and two stints at the old store in Boone (now Earth Fare) between 88 and 92.

Also, glad we're not Troy. They are very late in the process to lose Neal Brown. Hope (for there sake) that they can retain a internal candidate to hold the pieces together this late...

High powered offenses are entertaining but defense wins championships!! Hopefully we will have the best of both
Someone made a comment in another thread that we looked terrible in the First Quarter of the NO Bowl. (on offense we did). But, it's all a matter of perspective. Our defense had incredible results in the first quarter. They gave up a fair amount of yards, but held MTSU to 3 points on three trips inside the 30 yard line.

We have a balanced team the excels on both sides of the ball in most games + solid special teams play.

I think you're getting around to making the point that our defense it what kept us in that quarter and allowed us to open up a can on offense later. Had the d not done the heavy lifting, we would have been staring 17-0 in the face at the end of the 1st and the game would have been completely different.

If that's your point, then I completely agree :D
Give 'em hell!

It would've been the App - Ohio bowl game all over again

Maybe but it will require a bold asterisk because of all the idiotic, time wasting unrelated tangents.

Congrats all. I figured it would get there in posts, although the Recruiting thread didn't put in some of the recent filler posts about BBQ, condiments, jokes on coach names, etc ;). Probably would have got there anyway without it. But the views will take some more work. :D

Not saying App is Alabama, but look at their margin of victory since Tua took over. If App can get the offense rolling while maintaining defensive performance, which I believe they can even with a quick strike offense, App would be difficult to beat. The Spring Game can't get here soon enough.
