Spring ball starts in less than 2 weeks. We need coaches in place now so they can get settled into Boone, meet and get to know the players and start planning with the other coaches.

I remember when we were anxious to get a staff together for early recruiting, and then again for signing day.

Spring game is an open practice / scrimmage March 30th at 10:00. Baseball and softball are at home that afternoon. It'll be a great day to be on the mountain!

Great mix of young and familiar guys mixed with new yet really experienced guys. Excited for spring practice to start.

Only cementing my belief that Baldwin is going to be given a serious look to start this season. This offense is going to be as high octane, or attempt to be, as there has ever been in Boone. If the defense can maintain it's quality and the offense picks up, it's going to be an interesting ride through the Sun Belt.

Not sure how hiring a coach to fill a known gap in the staff supports any particular theory about replacing our current stud QB. Pretty huge reach.
