Let me know when she reaches the level of Peacock.DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 8:29 pmShe was judging the parade as well and tweeting about working with Coach Drinkwitz. She's much more involved with athletics than one might imagine.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 8:26 pmIf only our Chancellor was this engaging with Athletics.MAD Doctor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 8:20 pmSo impressed with Coach Drink’s presence in the community. This Saturday I saw him downtown judging the St. Pats parade and a few hours later he was helping with the emceeing of the Daniel Boone Rail Jam. This guy seems to work tirelessly in all facets of coaching. I look forward to seeing his interaction with students during football season.

Peacock was awesome and very engaging no doubt about it.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 10:05 pmLet me know when she reaches the level of Peacock.DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 8:29 pmShe was judging the parade as well and tweeting about working with Coach Drinkwitz. But, I will say I recently had a chance to hear Everts speak to a very small group and came away with much more respect and appreciation for her and the job she is doing.
She said herself that the football program did more to promote our school than any other means of advertising they could afford. The 30 second spots that air during the ESPN games get us more attention than anything we could do.
She may not have the outgoing personality that peacock did, but I do believe she is doing her best and truly cares for App and is doing her best to make it a better place every day.

Peacock set an extremely high bar when it comes to activism in the athletics department. I'm biased because I knew him, but I'm certainly willing to give Everts a chance. Glad she is hitting a better stride.

Thanks for the updates on our Chancellor. Glad she is doing a better job supporting the Athletics Department. I think DG is the best AD we have had in my life time and Peacock was the best Chancellor.

I know them both , and of course they have different personalities , but I would not say his support of athletics was greater.
