Eric, you really need to read the thread of posts before you spout off. Drink has publicly stated that DBG will redshirt so give it a rest. As for his flaws, you are correct as all college QBs have flaws. But DBGs flaws would be greatly exposed at the college level if he was not given time to correct them. He has a cannon but he puts too much air under his throws. Why is that? Because he throws with all upper body. Why is that? Because his foot work is not there which prevents a proper follow through. What is the downside should he not correct this? DBs will have time to get to balls to eithe break the pass up or intercept it.

And his throws take too long to get out of his hand. Drink took this young man because he knows he can fix it.

One of the people that Ethan mentioned as someone that Lance reached out to for advice is an APP Grad. Would love to get Kyle Richardson back up the mountain to work with the offense.

I didn’t put it together until I read he was the long snapper for the football team.

Position coaches are no different than anyone. If you are happy with what you are doing then your eyes aren’t wondering around looking for other options. Need our coaching staff to gel during spring ball.

I like the articles on all the individual coaching staff. Joyce is doing a very good job providing coverage. I want to continue to get more insight into the complete staff and especially Eli during the off season.

I think we often forget that Harrington would have likely been Jalin's top back-up had he not been injured. We have 4 guys that can light it up.

After reading all these cool articles it sounds like our offense will have more wrinkles than an un ironed shirt.

It would be cool if Garrett could get Lincoln's Boomer Sooners to schedule App for a money game.

So impressed with Coach Drink’s presence in the community. This Saturday I saw him downtown judging the St. Pats parade and a few hours later he was helping with the emceeing of the Daniel Boone Rail Jam. This guy seems to work tirelessly in all facets of coaching. I look forward to seeing his interaction with students during football season.

She was judging the parade as well and tweeting about working with Coach Drinkwitz. She's much more involved with athletics than one might imagine.
