Clay Travis

Unread post by Apptrain » Thu Dec 20, 2018 8:39 am

On his show this morning while reviewing the bowl games so far Clay, of course, pronounced us as Appalayshun State. Can we get the diacritical symbol for short “a” sound permanently installed in our name? He’s a Tennessee guy and still gets it wrong. But the funny part is he also insulted The Stink, and when it happened I just knew a Stink fan would let him know. He substituted Georgia State for Southern when mentioning their bowl game. In no time he was corrected by a Stink fan. I knew one would bust him and make a stink over it. Found it funny.

Thank you for not bitching at him on twitter for saying it wrong. Some illiterate Georgia Southern fan furiously tweeted him about saying Georgia State instead of Georgia Southern. Clay quoted it and now it’s viral with sports fans across the country roasting Georgia Southern.

Someone not reply to that guy about how many times that joke of a football team has beat "southern not state"?

This is pretty surprising especially considering he's from Tennessee and went to UTK. However, he made up for it burying that GATA fan.

Love me some Clay Travis. Calls it how he sees it. Need more of that.
