Our new WR coach lasted all of 10 days before he was plucked by Washington:

Don't let the door hit you on the way out... If you actually came in I guess.

It speaks to Drink’s ability to gather quality assistants and it’s the best possible time to lose an assistant coach.

And how do we expect the student/athletes to act differently? Transfers, flip commitments, declare too early for the draft....Something is wrong here!

And this is the guy we supposedly waited on for his “background check” to clear?

It's normal for the "ME" generation that has spawned. College football has evolved into a money game. Where is something wrong? I just don't see it in APPs program as you may be implying? We can see the same action in probably all programs. Alabama, the GOLD standard, since Clemson spanked them, there have been 14 coaching departures, good and bad. No program is immune to transfers and flip commitments and declaring for the draft. If we look around at everyone else, we will see similar things. I have followed APP Football for just short of 40 years and it is in pretty good shape.
As far as JA, he left because he got more money and higher profile job, just like Scott Satterfield.

Lol at some point y’all will realize this is a business for these coaches and not just a hobby like it is for you on Saturdays. You live in a capitalist society fellas.

America's a plutocracy. Not that this is really relevant to JA leaving.

I am not implying that it is anything specific to our program. It is all over college sports, even society as a whole. How can we expect our players to be loyal and honor commitments when the "adults" in the room do not? I do believe we are in pretty good shape as you say.

Exactly. We can’t expect it when we as adults just chase immediate gratification in $. No feeling of obligation whatsoever.

Washington's background check was much quicker. Is Senior Adams available?

Thank goodness! I have no problem with coaches going who want to make more money. Maybe less than 10% of coaches are loyal to a program. When they see a chance to make more money they will take it.

I am not concerned about Adams getting a better paying offer. I am eager to know who's on deck.
