Still do....but they try to season it for "Southwest style" or "breakfast" rice. Bojangles is still superior.Arsenal App wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 12:03 pmI always liked the dirty rice at Bojangles. Better than any rice I ate in the Navy and believe me they eat a lot of rice there.

Re: Mtn. Dew and French Fries
Kind of concerning to me. Sounds like the boys may be struggling a little with the new schemes. Hope it is not chaos the first few weeks of the season.
Hope I am not trying to read to much into a funny picture of spring camp.
On the bright side my oldest daughter and I will be making her first college visit in the morning to App! Not he first choice. Hope I can convince her.

Re: Mtn. Dew and French Fries
I didn’t read it as they were struggling. Just a lot of info to learn in a very short period of time. The stats from yesterday’s scrimmage would worry me more than anything, but our defense has made our offense look pretty pedestrian in scrimmage situations over the last few years.Yosefus wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 3:02 pmKind of concerning to me. Re: Mtn. Dew and French Fries
They are drinking from a fire hose right now. The good news is that the coaches know this and seem to be planning the volume of material they are introducing. The coaches are experienced enough to know what the players can execute and what will take some time. I would temper expectations through September as they figure it out.Yosefus wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 3:02 pmKind of concerning to me. I don't get around here to comment all that much, but I'll fight somebody over that kind of talk...
The soda hierarchy goes:
1. Sun Drop
2. Mtn Dew
3. Mellow Yellow
4. Everything else
5. That nasty stuff that contains cherry flavoring or root beer

Re: Mtn. Dew and French Fries
Funny, I was with you until #4 and #5 and realized you were comparing all soft drinks. If comparing citrusy drinks, 1-3 is accurate. Root beer is the only soft drink I ever drink anymore and not talking about the fake stuff. I usually skip over cheerwine, but it does serve as a good mixer.appstategrad2008 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 9:50 pmI don't get around here to comment all that much, but I'll fight somebody over that kind of talk...

I'm with you, Natty. Root beer is at the top of my list. The Citrisy drinks don't rank high at all.

I’d rather drink turpentine and piss on a brush fire.appstatealum wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 10:16 amHave you taken a swig of an ice cold Fanta Orange on a hot summer day.......?

Re: Mtn. Dew and French Fries
It’s the closest thing to the old school Minute Maid Orange Soda that I grew up on..... never tried turpentine, but I have pissed on a brush fire. I can’t say that I enjoyed it more than drinking a Fanta.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 10:58 amI’d rather drink turpentine and piss on a brush fire.appstatealum wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 10:16 amHave you taken a swig of an ice cold Fanta Orange on a hot summer day.......?
