Heard rumors about this, St. Patrick's Day Party. No idea what set it off and obviously can't tell which specific players are involved though. I know what frat this happened at but I'm not providing any details lol.
Sucks, but this seems rare to me. The football players used to come to my frat's parties (I graduated recently) and they were always great, respectful guys.

How did the person that recorded this know to record this before it even started?

Peoples is pretty obvious with his dyed hair, but he looks like he was trying to break it up. Can’t make out any others really, but it was pretty bad and kept going.
My guess is Drink is going to give out some suspensions and set the tone for no BS.

I’m glad I lived my stupid years when phones were attached to walls.

Frat bros and football players: a story as old as time. But seriously, it's hard to make sense of what happened there in that mass of people. Who started the scuffle? Why was someone upstairs already filming? Are we looking at game suspensions for involved players? Bad looks all around for everyone involved.

The real crime here is the vertical video.
Also, if this was St Patrick’s day, where is all the green?

While this is true, they have to be smarter than this. They have to know everything is recorded/posted these days, and have to know this looks bad on them, the program and the university.

I didn't see anything too malicious and most of this was a shoving match. Plus we don't have any context to what was said or done beforehand. Again, it's suspect that someone knew to record this at the exact moment it popped off. Which to me says either someone planned to start shit, or words were exchanged earlier. Extra wind sprints for those involved, nothing further.

The one dude with the red striped white shirt looks like was kicking someone who was down then connects with a solid right hand to someone who pushed him away. There were more punches thrown than what usually happens in these scuffles IMO

Leadership time Coach Drink. The honeymoon is over. Get to it. Nip it in the bud.

I suspect the team as a whole will encounter some extra “conditioning” for this. Not really sure how you use this video to suspend etc though.

I was involved in much worse when I was in school. Looks like dumb drunk kids talking trash and paying the consequences. What's promising is how it looked isolated to a few kids and a lot of them were trying to break it up.
The rule of thumb for me was never initiate contact and as soon as someone layed a finger on me, end it quick. I would make it loud and clear that I would not do anything unless provoked physically, that way if the law came around asking what happened, witnesses could say I was just defending myself. Needless to say, fights rarely materialize when you do not hit the idiot with the big mouth who "had it coming".

Yeah, it looked like that guy was trying to break up the early stuff and then something triggered him and he went crazy.
