Re: Pro Day 3/28
Dumbass Mel Kiper just referred to ND State as 1 double A. And he's supposed to be some kind of an expert??!

Re: Pro Day 3/28
I don't think anyone is actively rooting against these guys, most of the analysis on here has been very objective. I think a handful of these guys will make some rosters and see playing time with teams. The story on App guys has been skilled role players who can be found undrafted. We are starting to have players that will break that mold and you will probably see more mid to late round draft picks being used on our guys, but we aren't there yet. It's not a knock on any of our guys, it is just a testament to how good of a system we have at App.

Re: Pro Day 3/28
A lot of concern with the ankle gets Jalin a UDFA look. Duck gets a training camp look.

Re: Pro Day 3/28
Hayes, Exford, Duck and Jalin will all have their chance in camps. Even the guys that get drafter outside of second round are just hoping for chances. It's about what you do with your chance.

Show of hands those who honestly thought Duck would get drafted. Did some really good things at App and would have had a few nice stages to perform on next year. Hope he makes it

Re: Pro Day 3/28
With another year, hard work and great senior stats he would’ve had a good chance next year. Too bad he pulled the plug too soon.

Re: Pro Day 3/28
Honestly, I knew Duck wouldn't get drafted. I thought Jalin would go 6-7 and I thought Exford would sneak in the 7th due to his great pro day and size. Oh well, these guys just need to prove it in camp, technically just another round of the draft to go UDFA

Re: Pro Day 3/28
Agreed. I can’t believe Jalin didn’t go in the 7th. He’s so much better than the other RBs picked and comparable size.appstatealum wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 5:49 pmHonestly, I knew Duck wouldn't get drafted. Duck seems to be keeping positive about his situation.

Jalin seems to be silent on twitter at least

Re: Pro Day 3/28
I said so the day he declared. Moore had bad medical tests. He was still not 100% so I get why he goes undrafted. Duck never had a shot. We will have some guys picked next year though.

Re: Pro Day 3/28
What hurt Jalin was that you could tell his ankle was not 100% on Proday. I'm sure that worried a lot of scouts and many just figured they will take their chances in Free Agency

Re: Pro Day 3/28
My connection told me that Jalin did not look 100% at all. It is hard to really tell if you are not on the field standing just a few feet away. Said Moore was not nearly as explosive as he was during the season.appstatealum wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 6:04 pmWhat hurt Jalin was that you could tell his ankle was not 100% on Proday. Re: Pro Day 3/28
It’s been said for years that for a running back it’s probably better going the UDFA route. You can kind of pick a team with a need rather than having to compete as a draftee on a team full of backs

Exford Texans
Hayes Jaguars
Stout, Moore Jets
Duck Bears
Hopefully McMurry gets invited to a rookie camp or signs with somebody soon.
