Subhead: "How do you rank anybody but App State No. 1?"
I know there's another thread on Connelly's write up on the Apps, but for those unfamiliar with his 130-team preview, he runs through each team by conference, then sums up each conference with a power ranking. He's a robot, basically, but actually lets his opinions bleed into the power rankings.
He also picks standouts on O and D from each Sun Belt team. He picked Evans as our standout offensive player, with an extra shoutout to Zac in the summary, but picks Troy QB Kaleb Barker as best in conference.
For defense, he picked Davis-Gaither as top for both App and the whole Sun Belt, citing this logic: "This choice was much easier: pick the most active player from the best defense. Boom, done."

Fairly certain I said the same thing about Barker being the best QB in the conference and was flamed for it here.appchicago wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2019 8:48 amSubhead: "How do you rank anybody but App State No. 1?"

We've yet to play a meaningful down in the transition, but I like what I see and hear. Looking forward to Saturday!
