I’m glad you only have 25 posts with this hot take.
Those two App fans bring access to a wide range of App player, coaches, and former players. They also spend at a minimum a couple hours from their families providing that content.
Ungrateful is an understatement here.

If you like them cool like I said there is a place for them. Not a big fan of how they run over ppl who don't agree with them on Twitter or aren't disney everything when it comes to App State.
They don't like when fans have a legitimate issue with coaching or other things. Don't rag on the fans and belittle them for having an honest complaint or an educated opinion.

How about we take the whiteout and use it as a chance to contribute to the UNC Charlotte Niner Nation Unites fund to to support those affected by the April 30 shooting. The profits from all white shirt sales can be donated, etc. This will be Charlotte's second game and I'm sure their first game (at home versus Gardner-Webb) will be very emotional and hard for them.

Why do this? I remember back in 2005 App raised over $100K for Hurricane Katrina relief and presented it on the field at LSU. App State has shown they can be better together over the years and I think we can take the divisive nature of this promotion and flip it into a positive.
EDIT: Also, we could change Heroes Day from the last home game versus Texas State to this game because Riley Howell of Waynesville is a hero.

I just bought a couple of shirts using that FANATICS deal that was posted.......of course, none were white.

FYI: Make sure you get by the bookstore on Friday afternoon before 5:00 pm, as they've officially switched to summer hours and won't be open on weekends again until students get back in August.

Suggestion: everybody just wear a white golf shirt or white short sleeve dress shirt. Problem solved. I just wear an App hat which takes care of the logo deal.

Please, for the love of God, no one wear a white short sleeve dress shirt. There is NEVER an appropriate time for a short-sleeve dressy button-down, southern humidity be damned. But, if you should choose to wear one, please make sure your pants/jeans have pleats, otherwise, you're just not fully committed to the process.

You have to give a reason to your wife to buy App gear? I remember those days when I felt I had to. No more. Divorced in 1989. Spend my money the way I want to now..after freaking taxes.

App has always been proud of its boundary pushing and paradigm shifting in both academics and athletics. This is just the next step of App State innovation. Next year they are going to wear all black uniforms with brown belts and blue socks, just to break the rules. Mountaineers are fashion-forward and don't heed society's made up regulations.

For the record, there is no such thing as a short sleeved "dress shirt" or so I was told when I started my career back in the dark ages.

Agree. I would do this, but 1. there's a real good chance I'm going to forget about it, and 2. I don't own a white App shirt, and doubt I'll buy one just for this
