Looks like they'll be taking our money on the secondary market. Nothing new given the makeup of the UNC BOG.

Before we spend too much time and energy congratulating ourselves on the sellout, let's remember that it's their family weekend as well. Family weekend at any school, including App, is usually a big draw for parents who want to check in on their students and have a fun fall weekend. I'm sure we'll have plenty of fans there. I'm also sure there will be plenty of Carolina parents and families in attendance.

It didn’t sell out at all, actually. I don’t expect us to outnumber their fans, but if we have less than 10k there I will be shocked. Personally, I’m hoping for 15k.

I have a kid at UNC and went to family weekend last year. It was horribly attended. Picture above might even be last year's family weekend. That said, there will be plenty of tickets available you will just need to look for them. Craigslist, Stubhub, etc. scalp at gate, etc.

This game sold out so quickly because App fans AND UNC fans, who are more interested in their Heels facing our iconic national football brand than Clemson or arch-rival Duke, flooded the ticket office. No one buys tickets for Family Weekend in June the first moment tickets go on sale.

It's UNC's most expensive ticket on the secondary market, rivaled only by Clemson.

That is an extremely conservative estimate, IMO. I had some friends who went to that one, and as we were at another outdoor activity that morning, I remember that it was a pretty brutally hot day. I’ve been to several family weekends at UNC over the years unfortunately, no they’re not usually well attended. Parents go to town but not the football game. Replace App with any other G5, including those in-state and this thread never exists on other message boards. App State is coming to town to cover that ugly ass blue with some nice black and gold.
