Re: White Out Game
I think going forward we will need a trophy for this game. I’ll give props to UNCC for coming up with the battle of the beards thing, it was on their cups in Charlotte. I say the losing teams mascot has to come to the next meeting of the two, beardless. Shave it off Norm.87ASUgrad wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:49 pmI like this white gameday shirt for the Charlotte game from the App State Book Store./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 10:41 amIn need of some guidance. Re: White Out Game
The book store has had a football game day tee subscription the last couple of years in June-July. You get all 6 t-shirts and an App State Football hat mailed to you in August. They will bring the shirts back out before each game I bet.ASUGrad2014 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 11:17 pmLooked for the shirt but did not see it in the white out section... Re: White Out Game
I’ll buy one to wear for that one game and after we kick their buttskis, I’ll use it as a rag to wash the car with it until it wears out.87ASUgrad wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:49 pmI like this white gameday shirt for the Charlotte game from the App State Book Store./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 10:41 amIn need of some guidance. Come on, Nugget. I try to be a good host and don't mind some good natured smack talk from opposing fans on here, but this is some weak stuff. Surely you don't think our administration and even the fans on this board aren't aware of these rules. This isn't our first rodeo. The agreement was signed before any announcement was made. You're really trying too hard here.Nugget49 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:17 pmRule 9:

I hope you didn't put the guy that decided to fill your stands with Niner colors in charge of lining this up.

If you're asking a UNCC fan to be reasonable, you're barking up the wrong tree.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 10:26 amCome on, Nugget. This is the same small group of people that actually think that the SEC has them on speed dial and are just waiting for an invite.
The only ones left that still follow UNCC athletics are the fringe group. Luckily for them, we threw a life line to their swiftly dying program by scheduling a home and home series, which did and does nothing for us and is everything to them.
Maybe in the intervening 8 years before the next series starts something will change.

Well, I do try to give everyone some credit. Sometimes it is pretty hard. Their jump to the SEC will be easier from their position in the AAC once they are extended the invitation next spring.

Heck, if we had lost as many games as they have in such a short period of time, all we'd have left would be a few fringe groups. Larger fringe groups, but still. Most of you guys don't remember when we sucked for years.

Re: White Out Game
I have seen it happen before, and for the record, I don't think Charlotte would hold you to it. It sounds like we can agree that it would take a real clown of an AD to miss this one. Don't think there will be any problems.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 10:26 amCome on, Nugget.
