If you haven't checked out underdogdynasty.com then you should. Its a go to for CUSA, The American & Sun Belt news, updates and analysis done by people who know what they are talking about.

Underdog Dynasty

They just finished a Top 30 list of the best FB players in the Sun Belt. App has 8 of the 30 spots with ZT taking the #1 spot.

1. Zach Thomas
4. Vic Johnson
7. Darrynton Evans
9. Jordan Fehr
10. Corey Sutton
14. Akeem Davis-Gaither
15. Desmond Franklin
22. Josh Thomas

I expect Cam Peoples to break into this list before too long

Lets all just hope the o-line can defend Zac all season and show everyone why he's #1.

I'd say Sutton may be a little low on the current list and Peoples has potential to top the list when he has a chance to prove himself.

Yeah Sutton should've been in at least the top 5. I thought their #2 selection (Kindle Vildor, CB, GSUck) was bogus. Caleb Evans from ULM was bound to be #2. He kicked our ass in '17.

Lot of expectation for a Freshman. I like Marcus Williams Jr. in this offense, this season. Would like to see another season of bulking for Peoples. Could only imagine an App State team with a 6'1 220 lb running back who runs a true 4.4 40 time. Would've been a dream come true in Satterfield's offense here.

Kindle Vildor was one of, if not the best, corners in the league last season. Throw in Birdsong (was an App commit at one point) and you have the dynamic duo in Scott Slo...er....Nate Woody's defense. Those two together are more athletic (looking at measurables here, calm down) than any two App State starting corners since transitioning to this defense.
