Zac Thomas was red shirt sophomore last year for his first start. Not sure if that was the original question or not, though. His 2 years behind Taylor really taught him a lot. Just like 2 years behind Zac could make DBG great. If every time we graduate a great QB we have a red shirt sophomore coming in behind them, that is a great situation. Two seasons to learn a playbook and experience college strength and conditioning before stepping in as starter to shine, sounds like an incredible pattern.
