What records do you believe that this 2019 squad will surpass?
Here are a few that I think have a strong chance of falling:
1) Most passing yards for a season.
2) Most receiving yards (team).
3) Most receiving yards (player).
4) Most points for a season.
5) Highest ranking.
I’m looking forward to hearing what everyone else sees in their crystal ball.

1 and 2 are essentially the same thing. Both possible but hard to say; both would be a big jump from recent years, but we don't know how much more Drink will favor the pass.
Davon Fowlkes had over 1,600 receiving yards in 2004, so I'll say no way on that one.
I doubt we score more points than 2007 in at least one fewer game. Assuming 14 games, that would require averaging 46 ppg.
I think 5 is likely.

To set the single season passing yardage record, Zac will need to throw for about 1300 more yards than he did last year. That would be about 90 yards more per game (assuming we play 14 games, closer to a 100 if we only play 13). Last year Finley threw for 3900 yards but average about the same amount of yardage per attempt.

Last year he effectively didn't play in 2 games though. He was injured in the first series against GS and sat out against CCU. If he plays all 14 games, that would give him a boost.

While I certainly hope this record will be broken, our construction obstacles may keep quite a few away. Not me, though!!
