Yes, when I checked the webcam late this afternoon, it was a welcome sight to see two cranes in place and beams on the ground.

Sorry the picture is so small. It made me resize and shrink it so much you can barely see it anymore. Here's the link to the live video feed:

Haven’t seen this discussed anywhere but any ideas why the new renderings have one level of stadium seating as opposed to two levels on the original renderings? Kind of an awkward space on the lower levels of the building

Kind of weird. Looks like the recent rendering shows the old field houses with the temporary stands. Based on my meetings with the Yosef Club (I'm considering seats in the new facility) the original rendering is more like what they've shown me although that's even a little different.

It looks awesome, can't wait to see the final product! I know this is nitpicking but they missed an opportunity to take the track out of the 360* rendering along with adding the view of Howard's Knob from the club level for a more realistic and accurate rendering. :?

Seating could be a lot closer to the field .

It looks good from outside the stadium, fairly plain from the inside. I wish they used the same scheme as the west side tower.

Interior looks nice should be great for events.

The pic below probably should never have been placed in the Impact vid. It's an actual photo from either the Wake or Miami game.

This is the rendering being used to market premium seating.

Oh yes I agree can’t wait for the final product! Im all for the two tiered seating setup in the end zone. But If they do end up leaving the bottom portion open without stands, I could see it looking similar to the ecu facility with large windows facing towards the field on the bottom level. Or at least I would hope so

I feel like I read / heard somewhere that the lower section will be windows so the weight room, etc will have a view of the field.

For some reason they wanted to leave room for a future track and build the stands far from the field. Was hoping stands would be in top of field like when we had temp bleachers.

It does seem unnecessarily far from the field, I don't quite understand that. Anyone know of a valid reason?

Need to round out the stands from either side, in my opinion. Looks disjointed.

Based on the new rendering, if one was in the East section, if they wanted to peruse the new section, they will have to walk around the entire stadium to get there. I was really hoping it would allow you to walk through from the East.

I believe that is the long-term plan. DG has made comments that they plan to connect the East and West stands and close in both end zones down the road but it takes funding.

I watched Wake Forest play Nebraska a few years back while they were expanding BB&T Stadium.

It was horrible.

90+ degrees, dustbowl-like condidtions, it was rough (and funny because Wake kept promoting the expansion not as a stadium, but as an "experience" and boy was it an experience, lol.)

it's temporary, it's not the first time KBS has had to deal with the inconvenience of renovation and expansion. Next year it'll be totally worth it.

From a month or so ago:
“Gillin also mentioned how he would like to eventually connect the east and west end zones of Kidd Brewer for more fan seating.
“I kind of keep my eye on 2022 when North Carolina comes in here. What is that next phase between fall of ‘20 when we move in and fall of ‘22 when we know that UNC’s coming in here, and it’ll be pretty crowded?””

I hope they left the empty space so that they can eventually extend more GA seats down to the field level. This would be an easy way to add physical seats.

I'd love to get students and/or the band back behind the NEZ eventually.
