Let me see if I get this straight. We lose our best defensive lineman in Stout. His replacement is injured in spring ball, Willis. We lose our best LB, in Flory. We lose both our corners from last year. And this is all on Roof? Come on man!
Even taking into consideration the loss of players, UNCC should not be within 14 points in the fourth quarter.
They said the same thing about us when we played Penn State. Charlotte came to play, we're probably thinking about the UNC game or were busy downing Yosef Golden Ale last night.
Tried the Yosef Golden Ale today. I must say....not too bad. And I normally don't like beer.

Reminds me of Dale's Pale Ale that Oskar Blues puts out if I'm being honest.

Agree to an extent, but Flory was not our best LB. He was good, and very important piece of a beautifully designed puzzle, but not the best. And the schemes Roof called were not good. Only thing worse was the missed tackles.

Sitting on the West Side with 3 minutes left in the first half. There has been a steady stream of fans leaving since midway of the first half.
Why does this surprise you? It has happened every game for years.
Because I’ve never seen that many leave in the FIRST quarter. That’s why.

This phenomenon happens every game. The hill is a truly awful place to watch the game from and it does not take a genius to understand why people leave.

It happened significantly less in this game than usual tho, making this thread especially asinine.

Fair point on Flory. He was just always in the mix.

I prefer to have a ton of fans come every game and 10%-20% leave early (probably due to overcrowding) than have fans that only come to one game per year.

The crowd was huge yesterday and very loud. I thought that the number of fans who left early was much less than in other games. Announced was about 29,100. Trying to recall does that include students? The new end zone seating will be great. I’ve never watched a game from the hill. Don’t think I would dig it for almost 4 hours.

I meant First Quarter because I was sitting there against the rail with fans still pouring in and fans leaving

When the hill was the only area left it was better than nothing back in the day, Of course it was less steep then. Not much difference than the NEZ has been
.

The hill sucks. It has always sucked, and it will always suck.

Actual seats right behind the South end zone, who would want that???? Price Park is close by if all you want to do is sit on a blanket.
