Length of the game
The game, aside from our defensive issues was entertaining but WAY too long. Obviously we have to endure the television time outs but the constant play reviews are brutal. Some of them seemed like no-brainers and still took several minutes to complete. I love me some App and football games but they last too long.

Re: Length of the game
I felt like we were being punished for giving them a construction trailer for a locker room. We need an RV dealership to park a deluxe motor coach up next to the NEZ for the refs. Surely someone would "lend" us one for the advertising exposure? Trying to think outside the box here

Re: Length of the game
I had dinner at 10:35 when I got back to Greensboro via the Mountaineer Express. At least a few fast-food restaurants were open between the Greensboro Depot and McLeansville.

Re: Length of the game
There were so many scores in the game, which meant more changes of possession and time outs on the field.
Give 'em hell!

Re: Length of the game
I just hope all of the TV timeouts actually had a commercial for someone as I see as much of a generic "Commercial Break" message as I do actual commercials. If they are not going to show commercials they need to make the media timeouts shorter. Maybe the radio stations are airing 2 full minutes of commercials at every break.

Re: Length of the game
Not to hijack the thread, but these are the kind of games I point to when football only fans say that soccer, golf, or baseball are boring. By its nature, football is a very stop and start game. With the advent of replay this has become even more true. It’s why I can’t watch the NFL anymore. It’s boring! There’s 5 minutes of standing around and replay for every one minute of in-game action.

Re: Length of the game
I got home to Myrtle Beach about 1:30 AM. I can normally get home by 12:30. Whatever the problem, it costed me an hours sleep as I had to get up at 8:00 to get to the church I am pastor of to preach at 10:00. My afternoon nap was good though....

Well, at least as a pastor you only have to work the one day a week..appstate77 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 4:14 pmI got home to Myrtle Beach about 1:30 AM. I can normally get home by 12:30.
