I think Carolina is looking ahead. I was hoping they would be 3-0 when we ran them out of Keenan.

They don’t look scary thus far. If Wake waxes them then our goal needs to be wax them worse.

The team should never take the foot off the throat of the ram if we have it. Till the game ends; remember PSU, WAKE, TENN. It is time to finish the job.....

You're kidding, right? No P5 team "looks ahead" to a G5 in-state team over a P5 in-state team.

I assumed he meant Clemson with that comment, not us.

They weren't looking ahead, they just aren't quite there yet. If we consider ourselves equal to the bottom half of the ACC we should be in this game. Just have to be prepared to weather the emotions and environment. If we can play focused, mistake free football and our defense comes around we have a great chance to win.

I wonder if this will lead the Carolina players to think they were cheated out of the win against Wake and will still think they're better than they are:

I'll bet the Carolina message boards have been erupting about the way the game ended...for several reasons,, the refs, Mack's game management, and the RB that didn't get out of bounds quick enough. To his credit the RB (Carter?) has taken full responsibility for that blunder.

I’m surely the ACC will make it up to them this week.

That was going to happen whether it was a win or loss to Wake.

True.
I bet those refs were confused, as both teams were technically playing out of conference foes.
