On Appalachian State:
"They've been the most successful program in our state (the last four years). You have to give them credit for that and for who asked earlier, I was not at the 1940 game. I was not there. I didn't see it. I didn't see the video. We're not grading it. But Scott Satterfield did a tremendous job of recruiting. They've got great players. Their tailback, (Darrynton) Evans, is one of the best players I've seen. He was leading the nation in rushing after the first two weeks. Their quarterback is a really good player, Zac Thomas. I was up in the mountains this summer and I walked in to get my haircut and Victor Johnson was in there and he's a 6-5, 300-pound tackle for App State. I looked at him and I said, 'No, man, no,' and I tried to illegally recruit him and get him to come and he was not interested. So, they've got really good players and they've got good enough players to be in the ACC. We've got our hands full on Saturday. We'll have to play really well."

I think, too, they probably didn't think Wake Forest was as good as Miami or as South Carolina. The media doesn't, public doesn't, and all of a sudden, you've caught yourself in this little trap, and this is the game for Wake Forest. I told them, 'You've got the same thing this weekend. It is exactly the same thing this weekend. You're not going to see the team that played East Tennessee State and played Charlotte. Don't even watch the video. Watch bodies, but don't watch emotion because you're not going to get that emotion.

I think he was joking, but regardless, he's a UNC guy now so he can say and do what he wants. And when someone calls him out for any wrong doing, he'll probably be considerate enough to accept their apology.

I think we're about to bring some football "culture shock" to the Tarheels...we're gonna win in the parking lots, in the stands...and on the field.

Poor Mack trying his best to motivate his team and not give us any bulletin board material. You know what the blue bloods really think. We shouldn't be on the same field as them. No way with their recruiting rankings this game should be close. Which numbnut scheduled this game. UNC gets no reward and we having nothing to lose.
Man it shouldn't be hard to motivate our team.......

How many fans do you think we will bring? I would have guessed 12k+ before the season...but they made this game their family weekend...so many tickets could only be purchased by families of unc students...I hope we overwhelm Keenan

Re: UNC favored by Vegas -3.5
UNC has to overcome let down at Wake and a look ahead to Clempsum. App needs to be focused and not have 13 penalties this week and tackle better and open the playbook.
And something has to give on 11 straight P5 losses since The Big House.

I really like our chances Saturday and am totally stoked. However, let's all keep in mind that this is Drink and staff's first P5 game with our program, they've had nothing to do with the other losses. If the 4th quarter Tarheels show up earlier in the game it's going to be a dog fight..

I hope our guys aren’t listening to any of this. Make no mistake, all this talk is intended to take the chip off of our shoulder. If any of our players and coaches are reading this just remember, they didn’t want you and they don’t think you could play or coach for them. It’s up to you to prove them wrong on Saturday!!!!!!AppAlum1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 1:37 pmAnd, from that same report with Coach Brown:biggie wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 1:13 pmhttps://247sports.com/college/north-car ... 135734958/

Some interesting movement on the spread back down to 2.0 some places. Wondering if Strowbridge (their DE) is out.
