I just now got off the phone with DISH and they confirmed what another poster on here said. It is blacked out in my area for the Tar Hell game. Guess it will be good ol' WKBC FM for my 14 year old and me, Saturday. Tar Heels suk.

The blackout is a common practice with these networks, it's got nothing to do with Carolina not wanting people to see it.

I set my DVR to record the game this morning. I'm on North State in the Kernersville area. They're also showing the Wake-Elon game, which is at noon. Glad they didn't give us the noon time slot.

Yes I'm whining and have a hard time understanding especially since Wake and UNC was just on last Friday night. The game is a sellout, maybe they lift the blackout, wishful thinking?

Its not that kind of blackout. Its blacked out from streaming services in areas where the game was picked up by regional channels.

Is the schedule the same in all markets? I'm in the blackout market, just curious cant find a schedule to confirm APP/UNC on ESPN college extra.

Fox Sports regional channels are not blacked out on DISH, it’s that DISH is not even carrying the channels at all right now. The two are in a price/contract dispute with one another. The only way for a DISH customer to watch is to get a friend’s cable login or sign up for a free trial of YouTube TV.
