We were in 104 and had a lady asking 5 minutes in if we were going to yell the whole time. She didn't like my answer and left for the half. She came back in the third but sat at the very end of the row.

The only time their fans seemed reasonably engaged was the last 5 minutes of the game. My fiance has only been to games at Kidd Brewer and one of the bowl games. She was shocked at the cultural differences between the programs.

We need to get one of those countdown clock signs for our red hat guy. Very helpful.
We had one for the UNCC game.

We had that at the UNCC game. I agree, helps to know how long the TV will be taking to get us started again.

If you're referring to the t.v. timeout guy, we do have a countdown clock. That is if memory serves me right.

We were in 130. The lady behind me was REAL MAD about the game and made some comment like “you’re the only one standing you idiot.” I told her I’m an App State fan and I’m going to be standing for much of this game. I apologized for the cultural incompatibility of our two fan bases. She left in the third quarter.
I was in 210 and didn’t stand the entire game, but did stand for key plays. On a big 3rd down in the 2nd Q, I felt a tap in my back. The college aged female fan said “I can’t see”. I politely said, “You’re at a football game, if you want to see Stand Up.”

It may be provided by the TV network. We had one and the electronic down markers for the Sun Belt Championship. If I remember correctly, we did not have it for ETSU, but had it for UNCC.

Section 202 - Extremely burned, raw throat, fatigued to the point of asking the coach to take us out in the 4th quarter. The APP crowd was big and loud - from my perspective more that 25% of the stadium.

I’ve never understood this kind of behavior. I’m a pretty big guy, so I get this a lot and try to be respectful. Once I was at a Braves game and a fellow Braves fan said, “hey jackass, none of us can see!” The Braves had just hit a homerun. If you aren’t there to root for your team, why are you there at all?

My voice is shot today but what a great way to lose it in Kenan.

We took over Franklin street too, He’s Not Here was packed with App fans after the game and would break into APP - STATE chants during the bands song breaks.

We have one, my son and I talked about at uncc game. Now the digital down marker they had was a nice touch.

I think the lesson we can take from here, other than we have one of those digital commercial break clocks, is that you never want to write the last post on a page.

Yeah. My wife and I stood the entire game, although I was yelling so much and whistling that I felt like I was going over the railing at some point due to the heat. The UNC fans around us didn't say anything, but they did try and match our cheering

Section 102...Baked, horse....HAPPY! More App fans there than I expected, and we were loud. Drank 6 bottles of water never had to go to bathroom. Also I found an ASU hockey jersey on 102 Row BB seat 3 or 4. Spread the word

Sat in 221 with my brother in law who is a Tarheel grad and though it wasn't as hot as that ECU game it was still freaking hot!

I still don't have my voice back but I don't care.

BTW I know we've hit the big time when I'm gassing my car up in Garner and see on Gas TV the sack and fumble recovery and TD as a highlight.

We had one in operation at the UNCC game. He would stand on north side of the App sideline very near the band but out in the field of course so he could be seen by the refs and the TV/Radio media up in the media booths.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.
