Charlotte Observer: Apps State too much for UNC in Chapel Hill
The Disturber finally admits it...sort of!

"What looked to be a promising start for North Carolina in its game against Appalachian State, quickly wasn’t. The Tar Heels scored the first touchdown of the game on Saturday in 17 seconds, but after that it was all App State."

This goes back to the mentality thread. We didn’t beat them, they beat themselves. I can hear the whining through my screen.
Give 'em Hell!

I could not get our post game show leaving Chapel Hill, so I listened to Carolina's postgame show......a pile of self serving horse caca with not one, one reference to App and how well we played. They went so far as to insult Zac by saying they got beaten by a QB who can't "break five seconds in the 40." The Whine and Cheesers choked before they could say the "Moonshine and corn bread" team beat their high and mightyness.

I love all the excuses and I’m glad the Hole people keep making them. It’s just an example of why I’ve hated those people all these years. This loss bothers them so much.....which makes me so happy.

Goes back to where my NFL friend said he gives media folks zero stock in their opinions. Most have no clue what they are seeing on the field. Anyone who thinks Thomas runs a 5.0 40 is blind or stupid or both. I bet ZT would be one of their 5 fastest players.appstate77 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 11:50 amI could not get our post game show leaving Chapel Hill, so I listened to Carolina's postgame show......a pile of self serving horse caca with not one, one reference to App and how well we played. I don’t know if he can run a 5.0 40, but he sure did look fast as he ran by them for about 50 yards.....AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 12:25 pmGoes back to where my NFL friend said he gives media folks zero stock in their opinions. Re: Charlotte Observer: Apps State too much for UNC in Chapel Hill
I’m pretty sure the guy saying that stuff about Zach played in the NFL. He was horrible, also said Zach was a game manager who “couldn’t play”. He admitted that he didn’t follow App at all so he obviously doesn’t know how much the young man has accomplished. Pretty said and completely unprofessional when your team sanctioned commentator does absolutely no research on the opposing team. Even worse when they talk so poorly of any of these young men. Everyone involved in collage athletics should be trying to elevate student athletes, not tear them down. He was a complete ass. On the flip side he said his Tar Holes got beat by a team with a really slow QB who can’t play. So for me that makes him a really stupid ass.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 12:25 pmGoes back to where my NFL friend said he gives media folks zero stock in their opinions. Kind of funny because Sam Powell, or whatever his name is, is slow as shit.

Based on Eric Church and the mountain videos on the big screen, And the final score, maybe they should change their name to ASU-Chapel Hill.
