Appalachian State Flags
Anyone know if the "Defend Our State" or "TIGMA" flags are available for purchase? I saw quite a few hanging up in the Manning Lot and would like to pick up one of each. Looks like they were branded with a student yosef club label, anyone know if these are for sale anywhere? Thanks!

Re: Appalachian State Flags
Thanks, so what's my options as an alum? Can I buy directly from the YC? Can I "sponsor" a student and just get the flag? Anyone know a good contact here?

uhhhh....a friend of mine says that flag poles are a great way to get mini-bottles into the game...
There is guy named Chad making amazing Appalachian State corn hole boards, exact replicas of "TIGMA for App" NC signs and much much more...I follow him on Instagram. His username is "Mountaineerworks" and if you search the hastag "Mountaineerworks" you'll find him as well.

Winter coats, underwear, and socks are also great ways to sneak mini's into a game. If the university has banned flag poles for that reason alone, it's the dumbest thing since a video that came out in 2004 (It shall not be named).kornegaylw wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 1:59 pm

Re: Appalachian State Flags
FYI: I contacted the compliance office a couple months ago asking if I as a YC member could as you say "sponsor" a recent alumni athlete and pay for an initial YC membership. I was told that no I cannot legally do that. I have no idea the NCAA reasoning behind this (other than one more stupid rule). I was simply told the NCAA company line: "Once a booster, always a booster." If anyone has different or more accurate intel regarding this I'd appreciate it
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

By that logic, I guess "Once an athlete, always an athlete". Good luck to the NCAA with inforcing that. They can't even manage improper benefits at these schools with current athletes. At least it's nice to know App is by the book, even if that "book" is flawed in many ways.

yeah it sucks that we have to be extra careful because we're the kind of school that actually gets penalized.Appstrong wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 8:10 amBy that logic, I guess "Once an athlete, always an athlete". Meanwhile the UNCs and Kansas's of the world do whatever they want, with impunity.

Just received my TIGMA sign from Chad for my office. Great work and can’t wait to show it off on my client calls. Worth looking into if you’re looking for App State apparel for your home!kornegaylw wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 1:59 pmuhhhh....a friend of mine says that flag poles are a great way to get mini-bottles into the game...
