We pass Missouri and AZ State. Maybe Michigan but I wouldn’t bet on it. Washington was ahead of us in the coaches poll so obviously we pass them too. I also have a feeling we’ll gain ground on Iowa, though I doubt we pass them.

More importantly - go Mormons!

Something that I found out today is that due to being ranked in the AP Top 25, the AP automatically will send a writer and photographer to App's games as long as they maintain the ranking. So that's another good plus to being ranked.

My early prediction:

#22
Agree.... I was thinking 21-22 based on our margin of victory and some of the teams that went down today.

You guys sure you don’t want to go back to FCS? We could have spent today keeping an eye on the likes of Sacramento State or William & Mary. As opposed to Missouri, Arizona State and Michigan.

If we keep playing like this and make a statement in Columbia then we won't have to worry about results because we will start to leapfrog teams when they have down weeks. Win by 40+ and voters will take notice. Can't overlook South Alabama though. If our players take one game lightly we will lose. If they don't then I don't think anyone we play can beat us.

This was a very good performance. Just minor things I'm sure Drink wants to improve on. One has to be that we want to be first to score. That and some minor playcalling are all you can complain on. I love the adjust putting Roof in the box the last few weeks. It is clearly working and Gaspo and others are making the final calls. I think UVA and maybe one other team may have leapfrogged us if we had barely won but this win guarantees we keep moving up.

If that BYU guy is still stopping by, I’m pulling hard for your “old” team tonight. Up 14-10 on Boise midway through the third third quarter.

BYU up 21-10. Pretty surprising.

Boise will fall right out of the top 25 if they lose, fwiw. Especially to a 2-4 BYU team. I mean BYU lost to Toledo, who got obliterated by MAC powerhouse Ball State today. 52-14. Yeesh.

Whether BSU wins or loses, Drink needs to make sure to hammer this message home to the team this week. No matter the opponent, we must put forth max effort and take every opponent 100% seriously.

I don’t know how long you’ve been a fan but these posts are played out and stupid! We enjoyed success and a lot of fun games at the fcs level. We moved up and have done very well. Making these dumb posts only minimizes the 3 national titles we won. Give it a rest

Yes the time for nice wins is over. We gotta start destroying everyone if we can.

This South Alabama game is a great opportunity for us to lay 50+ on someone on national television. I hope the boys come in super focused and ready to crush those poor poor jags.

Especially seeing that our next opponent is currently a dumpster fire.

I'm willing to bet that there are still some crusty old boomers out there who wish we were still the "big fish in the little pond."

They will drop behind us but not fall out. Probably 22-24 range. They were already 14 and teams with a name like them are given one loss. This loss was too early though so they could climb back up. We need them to lose one game in November as well.

I know a few of the ones who did not want us to move up and they are all in now. I don't think anyone is upset now. I kept telling them just watch that we will be good. We are in NY6 conversation a little sooner than I thought but I knew we could end up here.

AAC and perennial top 25 ranking is the goal within 5 years from now. We can do it.

Exactly. Someone on here said to me we just need to win. No we do not just need to win. We need to crush people. We need some style points. If we keep beating everyone 30-45 every week then we will not need to worry about teams losing so much and we will for sure be ranked in the CFP. 2 more weeks like this and there is no question the CFP will rank us.
