No, they won’t get in playoff. Their SOS isn’t good enough.

Re: Top 25 Watch (real thread)
What I mean is a ranking alone by media doesn’t guarantee a spot in the CFP Rankings but if you leave no doubt in games a G5 will climb. We really need to put it on UL Monroe.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 8:04 amWow, you feeling ok?AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 4:21 amhttps://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... ngs-week-7
Like the AP and Coaches Polls this won’t guarantee a ranking in the CFP but if we put together some statement wins over the next 4 weeks it will be interesting to see how high we climb. Still a lot to play. I’m not worried about moving up because these AAC teams will beat each other up. If we keep winning Boise State will be the only team in our way.
Everything is going in our favor except Boise State hasn’t lost yet. There is so much time I don’t think we need to worry for a while though.

Re: Top 25 Watch (real thread)
Every guess has us in, which I think most of us expected anyway. Decided to take a stab at it since we are now to the point where we will be ranked for sure. The big questions are does Iowa fall farther than I have them. If so, then we will be 23. Does Wake Forest fall out and if so will it be Washington, Tulane, or Iowa State ranked. My guess is Washington with Tulane and Iowa State on deck in that top 3 outside of it.
Rank Team Last Week
1 Alabama 1
2 Clemson 2
3 LSU 5
4 Ohio State 3T
5 Oklahoma 6
6 Wisconsin 8
7 Florida 7
8 Penn State 10
9 Georgia 3T
10 Notre Dame 9
11 Auburn 12
12 Oregon 13
13 Texas 11
14 Boise State 14
15 Utah 15
16 Michigan 16
17 Arizona State 18
18 Baylor 22
19 SMU 21
20 Minnesota 26
21 Iowa 17
22 Cincinnati 25
23 Missouri 27
24 Appalachian State 28
25 Washington 29
26 Wake Forest 19
27 Tulane 30
28 Iowa State 35T
29 Temple NR
30 California 31

Hey AppStFan1 - any way you could put your projections on your own site or something and include a hyperlink...so that we don't have to scroll half way down a page of someone's personal stab at a Top-25 poll, when the real polls from real voters are just hours away from release? These posts are kinda a pain on the eyes, especially on mobile.

Not nearly as bad as when people keep quoting some ridiculously long post over and over though.HkyMtneer wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 10:03 amHey AppStFan1 - any way you could put your projections on your own site or something and include a hyperlink...so that we don't have to scroll half way down a page of someone's personal stab at a Top-25 poll, when the real polls from real voters are just hours away from release? It would be nice if the system had some way of automatically reducing a comment on a quote to simply the previous message that one is commenting on directly...rather than showing the whole quoted discussion each time. I know you can edit those messages out but with all the [/quote] and user id's and extension #'s popping...it's kinda confusing sometimes to look at when trying to shorten the discussion.ASU-FTW wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 10:10 amNot nearly as bad as when people keep quoting some ridiculously long post over and over though.HkyMtneer wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 10:03 amHey AppStFan1 - any way you could put your projections on your own site or something and include a hyperlink...so that we don't have to scroll half way down a page of someone's personal stab at a Top-25 poll, when the real polls from real voters are just hours away from release? Re: Top 25 Watch (real thread)
Look at the AAC schedule next week and see why I'm not as worried about them as it appears we should be. Temple at SMU and Tulane at Memphis. 2 of those teams are probably losing all or 90% of their votes next week alone.

Some forums have the option to quote a single reply or quote all replies. That would be helpful here

Re: Top 25 Watch (real thread)
Very happy to be ranked again, but to me it does feel different this time. Last year it seemed like a major milestone (and it was). This time, it feels more expected.
Now that we’re in, looking forward to continuing the climb.

Oh crap, now since we are ranked in two polls, we will lose twice this coming weekend.

Re: Top 25 Watch (real thread)
I'm happy for it but I'll feel like we officially arrived if we get to 9-0. I want to beat an SEC team on the road, particularly one who pulled an upset over a top 5 team. We need to keep going 1-0 and run the next 7 teams out of the stadium.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 1:24 pmVery happy to be ranked again, but to me it does feel different this time.
