I know ...it is crazy. South Carolina is more talented than UNC....some had them winning the SEC East

Nobody is dismissing them. We are just saying that it is a game we should beat if we are a top 25 team and we believe that we can/should beat them. Don't dismiss any opponent completely. I just don't consider South Carolina a loss that a top 25 should have unless they go on a big win streak starting today and win 4 straight. They have a thumping by Missouri, loss to a UNC team we beat, and have been up and down.

If you think about it we could look at whoever loses that game as good. If Temple loses they have two losses and no way they pass an undefeated or 1 loss App State in the polls next month. If Memphis loses then we will immediately pass them in the minds of voters. We just need Temple to lose one more if they indeed beat Memphis today.

We need them to be healthy and I hope they beat UGA today and at least 2 of the next 3 prior to us. I want to beat a healthy South Carolina team that ends up being considered a solid win.

Going just down the road and beating a middling ACC team is a lot different than going down to Columbia and beating a middling SEC team. Everyone everywhere has declared our victory over South Carolina after beating UNC. I think they're all crazy. I would not expect to go win that game. Can we? Absolutely. Do I expect to walk in and just grab a win. Hell no. Not so much people here, but elsewhere I see everyone saying App will easily beat South Carolina. Even their own fans all saying they are screwed. I wish it were that easy

Temple will likely be ranked if they win this game. Will move to 5-1. Though I think we’d still be above them.


The AAC is strong this year, I hope they continue to cannibalize themselves.

As for cannibalizing themselves that was my argument to begin with. That's why I'm not too worried about anyone in the AAC now that UCF has 2 losses. If someone is still undefeated by mid November then I was going to start pulling against a specific team.

I don't think it is a guarantee but I will be very disappointed and know for sure we are not a top 25 caliber team if we don't beat them. They are a top 40 team for sure. I really wish we were playing them next week if they beat UGA today. We would be the ultimate trap game that their players would overlook.
