Thursday Night Football Parking Plan
Appalachian State University vs. Georgia Southern University – 10/31/19
Parking Lots Not Available Until 4:00pm
o Stadium Area Lots (Champions, Softball, Mountaineer, Stadium Deck, Top of the Rock)
o Broyhill Music Lot
o Edwin Duncan Lot
o Greenwood Lot (Lower Side)
o Hill Street Lot (Designated Accessible Parking [ADA] Lot)
o Justice Lot
o Legends Lot
o Library Deck
o Peacock Lot (Howard Street side only; spaces 151-302)
o Rivers Street Parking Deck
Parking Lots Not Available Until 5:00pm
o Health & Human Services Lot
o Holmes Center Lot
o John E. Thomas (JET) Lot
o University Drive

Excellent. I was hoping they wouldn’t have to wait until 6 or something. Need to get there and get food in and some liquid.

We have a home game usually every other season on a Thursday now. Why don't they just credit employees time worked and let the lots open earlier. Plus it is Halloween, this will cause a massive log jam in Boone of traffic. Nightmare on King and Rivers Street literally!

Yep. I'm parking in my secret spot. Very inconvenient, but it's always there if we choose..

I think the plan in place is reasonable.... unfortunately turn out is down for these week night games...my usual crowd has 3 cars and 8 folks....for this game we will be one car and 3 folks

It's simply for TV money. The camera operators and directors are trained to avoid showing the empty sections in the stadium. All stadiums, even NFL.

If they wanted to adjust they could easily do so. Clemson has done this and so do other FBS schools when they play on weeknights.
