That Club got decimated last night. Like rats jumping off a sinking ship. In all honesty Roof nearly pitched a no-hitter, if it weren't for the bad interference call that extended their scoring drive, ala the one ending the half in Chapel Hole.

All that hype and Roof stuffed them.

Yeah the 3rd down PI that extended their only scoring drive at the end of the 2nd quarter. You can call a PI every pass play if that was a flag. Good coverage. Tickey tack. And that level of scrutiny was not applied to their DBs at any point in the game. The line judge had a court side seat to the egregious mugging Sutton received in our final drive, yet another official had to run up from upfield to make the correct call.

As it was happening I saw the ref was not going to throw the flag and I was losing my mind; then I saw the little yellow flag enter my screen from the bottom left corner of my television and could breathe again.

The Angry Ales crowd was even angrier until that other flag flew in. It would have been on par with Saints no call at the NFC Championship game last year if without the other judge running up to make it.

This probably seemed even-handed when you typed it, but it's such a clown take.

I'll be glad when we get this Ted Roof stuff behind us. I hate any negativity around our program. It doesn't help at all and can actually hurt the cause. Potential recruits, commits, and their families probably check this board regularly to see what's going on. We're 5-0 with a P5 win, about to get ranked and let's all just enjoy our special season and feel blessed that we've got a great coaching staff that if anything, might even be better than what we had. Remember all the "sky is falling," stuff last December when Satt left? Needless worry and probably wasn't helpful in signing recruits. Let's just enjoy the ride..

In the corporate world we frequently talk about how you're either "adding energy" or "taking it away;" which do you think the anti-Roof stuff is doing. Let's just move on..

Felt like I was watching a Satterfield led team again, TBH...... Strange. But he leaned on the defense and they delivered. We probably could've blown them out. Real question now is why he refused to feed the ball to Corey on those stacked boxes and single coverage packages....

Apparently he doesn't like the way Corey is practicing.

I'll save this one for the Lodge. Let's just say this comment made at the presser was a hot pile of poop emoji. I've seen practices, Corey goes harder than most. I heard about his off season work too, and it was ubsurd. The back story is unclear, but I think I may have figured it out.
