For those interested, here is the Homecoming 2019 schedule for this weekend:

Friday, October 18th, 2019
Homecoming Parade: 7:00-7:45p W. King St.
-Visitors to downtown will be able to park in any of the Town of Boone public parking lots, or on King Street. For optimal parking and parade-viewing sights, please arrive in downtown no later than 6:15 p.m. Streets will close just prior to the parade step off at 7:00 p.m.

Apptober Fest 7:30-11:00p Peacock Parking Lot
-Visitors to downtown will be able to park in any of the Town of Boone public parking lots, or on King Street. For optimal parking and parade-viewing sights, please arrive in downtown no later than 6:15 p.m. Streets will close just prior to the parade step off at 7:00 p.m. Beer Garden Event Cost: $5 Domestic, $7 Craft, and $9 Wine

Fireworks Show 10:00p
-The fireworks will be visible atop the mountain behind the football stadium.

Saturday, October 19th, 2019
Alumni Homecoming Breakfast 9:00-10:30a McKinney Alumni Center
-Walk-ups for APPtoberfest and Homecoming Street Party, Alumni Homecoming Breakfast, and the Alumni Tailgate are welcome.

Parking for the McKinney Alumni Center: There will be no parking at the McKinney during Homecoming weekend. Town of Boone game-day parking will be available with an Apple Cart drop-off at the Holmes Convocation Center which is across the street from the McKinney Alumni Center. Routes for the Holmes Convocation Center include POP, Pink, Green, Express, Purple.

Alumni Block Party and Tailgate 11:30-2:30p McKinney Alumni Center
-The Homecoming 2019 Mountaineer Tailgate Party is Saturday, October 19 and will be held this year at the McKinney Alumni Center (inside/outside). Come enjoy corn hole, face painting, giant Jenga, flipping through old yearbooks, find updated contact information for former classmates, and grab a special reunion year button if you're from the classes of 2014, 2009, 2004, 1999, 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974, or 1969.

Event Cost: Complimentary
BBQ Lunch Cost: $15.00 per person and includes drink

Walk-ups for APPtoberfest, Alumni Homecoming Breakfast, and the Alumni Block Party and Tailgate are welcome, but pre-registration encouraged.

NPHC Step Show 8:00p Schaefer Center
-Tickets can be purchased at the Schaefer Center Box Office starting at 6 pm the day of the Step Show ($7 Students // $10 Public)
